Task 5: Household Appliances Saturation Survey
Task Objectives
The objectives of this Task are to design a survey program aiming at assessing the energy intensity of household appliances in Lao PDR, and to work with the DSM Cell to implement the survey program. The survey program will collect information on appliance usage, sizes and models, safety performance, energy efficiency performance, other technical and product specifications, including origin of manufacture. The information will help identify opportunities for appliance standards and labeling activities in Lao PDR and assist the Consultant to prepare a conceptual work plan for energy efficiency standards and labeling for residential appliances in Lao PDR.
